1. Book review queue
A book must be checked before export. The eBay CSV creates drafts, not live listings, and does not include private image URLs. Add scans to eBay when reviewing the draft.
| Scans | Book | ISBN | Price | Estimated profit | Review | Action |
|---|
2. Upload book scans
Choose the original front and rear JPEGs from your Mac. Originals are stored privately in Supabase. The rear scan is the best place to read an ISBN.
Text recognition runs in your browser and may take time on the first use. It suggests text; always check the edition. No automatic crop is applied to original scans.

3. Review book information
Book lookup uses ISBN. Games, CDs and DVDs can be recorded manually; dedicated catalogue lookup and eBay category mapping will come later.
Choosing a condition fills the editable description below. Check the physical copy and adjust the text as necessary.
Review the condition and book details before saving. The saved description is included in the eBay draft CSV.
4. Postage and profitability
Enter book measurements in centimetres. ResellerRobot uses a conservative 2.3 cm book-thickness threshold; the fully packed item must still meet Royal Mail Large Letter limits (35.3 × 25 × 2.5 cm; 750 g). Manual measurements take priority over catalogue estimates.
Automatic Mac scan arrivals
For hands-free uploading, run the ResellerRobot Mac helper. It creates new entries in the Review Queue above as each front/rear pair arrives. Click Refresh inventory to see the new arrivals. Newly arrived books are automatically checked for ISBNs while this page is open; any results require your review. The manual batch uploader remains available as a backup.
Manual batch upload (backup)
Choose the scanned JPEG files together (you can select all in Finder). Odd scan numbers are fronts and the next even number is the back. Review every pair before saving. This does not watch the Mac folder in the background.
